App Hardening is an Enterprise, build-server transform that renames classes, encrypts strings and obfuscates control flow in the shipped binary across every port, integrated with Crash Protection so obfuscated stack traces are still symbolicated. The engine runs on the build server; this package only lets app code observe whether the current build was hardened. See the App Hardening chapter of the developer guide.
